HD Texture Packs

The texture pack for Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince has been updated and now includes additional textures. The textures are upgraded from the PC version and the quality should be noticeably improved. All DLC and the latest update (v1.0.6) should be compatible. You can get it from the downloads page with credits or if you're a subscriber.

Onto the news about the Ryujinx 8GB custom build. Out of caution, when Ryujinx went offline, I took the custom build off of the downloads page. Since then, more details have surfaced. Nintendo and the lead developer of Ryujinx made an agreement and the emulator was voluntarily taken offline. This prevented the case from going to court and there was no DMCA takedown. This means that the Ryujinx code base is legal and may be distributed, however if Nintendo issues a takedown request then HDPacks.com will have to oblige.

The Pokemon Scarlet & Violet 4k texture pack trailer has been uploaded here on the site with a higher quality bitrate. This trailer is based on the old version and doesn't feature the higher quality update. For now the trailer is not available on Youtube.

8k High Bitrate Trailer:

The Pokemon Scarlet & Violet texture pack has been updated and now includes DLC content. Overall texture quality has been upgraded, including a massive improvement for terrain. Various bugs have also been fixed.

The texture pack has been placed back into early access for now. You can get it from the downloads section if you're a Download Access+ subscriber. If you'd like to subscribe you can do so from your profile or on Patreon.

Update: October 1st, 2024

It looks like Ryujinx is no more. Sadly, the last great Switch emulator has been taken down by Nintendo.

Ryujinx Official now supports 8GB expanded DRAM. Please use the official version from now on for the latest emulator updates.

As a quick update, I'm working on a couple of projects. Any news will be posted on the website when enough progress is made.

The Ryujinx 8GB Custom emulator for texture packs has been updated to v1.0.5. This update fixes a bug that caused a memory crash with some games, such as Pokemon Scarlet & Violet and updates the code to the latest official Ryujinx (1.1.1386).
