HD Texture Packs

A new update for the Tears of the Kingdom texture pack has been released. This update features texture quality improvement, texture recompression time improvement, VRAM usage improvement, and memory optimization.

The texture pack is still in early access, so it is currently only available to Patrons. Visit Patreon if you'd like to try it now, or the downloads page if you're already a Patron.

All the textures in the games are upgraded, however there is still some optimization and improvements to be made before the texture pack is 100% finished.

Hardware requirements: Since this is a 4k texture pack, the best experience is to play with 4k or higher resolution. Expect PC requirements (especially VRAM) to match modern game requirements for 4k.

This update is a small one to add compatibility with the newest patch (v1.3.0).

Update: You may have to delete qt-config.ini from Yuzu/Config if you experience crashes during launch. This file contains some settings, so save your controller configuration to a profile before you do this.

The developers behind Yuzu have improved the emulator significantly, and now HD Texture Packs are compatible with Yuzu. This is not thoroughly tested, but so far the results are looking great.

Moving forward, Yuzu may be the recommended emulator ahead of Ryujinx.

Some small adjustments to the emulator were required, so please visit the downloads page to get the custom build.

A new version of the custom build has been released to include recent updates from the official emulator. The new build includes an anti-aliasing feature and other minor updates. Download v1.0.2 from Github or from the downloads page.
